The Lake County Sheriff's Office announced today that cybercrimes detectives arrested 26 men accused of traveling to meet children for sex after a week-long operation.
During an extensive effort last week known as Operation Take Two detectives went undercover online posing as children or guardians of children and used a vacant Tavares home as a meeting place after being asked for sex, according to the agency.
The men arrested were anywhere from 19 to 69 years old with one truck driver traveling as far away as Georgia to meet.
Deputies also seized four vehicles in the sweep.
