Attorney to file motion asking judge to allow George Zimmerman to travelAttorney to file motion asking judge to allow George Zimmerman to travel
http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/attorney-file-motion-asking-judge-allow-george-zim/nP7sj/ SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — The attorney for George Zimmerman, who is accused of killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, plans to file a motion to ask a judge to allow Zimmerman to be able to travel anywhere in the United States for his own safety. When Zimmerman bonded out of jail earlier this month, a Seminole County judge added some tough restrictions to his $1 million bond. Zimmerman currently has to stay in Seminole County, be monitored around the clock with a GPS bracelet, and check in every 48 hours. He’s not allowed to have a bank account, a passport, or even go to the Orlando-Sanford International Airport for any reason. *** "Even though the defense fund is running very low, we have increased security costs because the closer he is, the easier he is to find, the more security he has to have," said O'Mara.

1. Because travel doesn't require security
|
and is a lot cheaper than holing it up in someone's basement, right? Therefore, we need to remove the monitoring device, the check-in requirements and the whole bank/passport restrictions.
Do these guys bother to read their talking points before the spew them? |

3. Seriously. And he could just go back to prison, be safe in solitary.

5. That was my immediate reaction
|
I didn't share it because I wanted to give someone else the opportunity to post it. And I'm sure it's also going to be the judge's immediate reaction.

6. Even better point!
|
If the costs are too much, and the security is too scary, revoke his bond for his own safety.

2. If he doesn't feel safe
|
He can go back to jail and be placed in solitary confinement until his trial.

4. Uh huh, like that's going to happen...
|
there is no reason for him to 'travel' anywhere, imo, except back to jail. They are trying to scam the Judge and the public yet again.

7. Yeah so he can flee to Mexico to avoid standing trial?
|
Any sane judge would immediately say no - I can't believe they don't find that the least bit suspicious
