2. A comedy series?

How can one pregnancy fill up a series?

I don't know. This just doesn't feel realistic to me as a comedy. I have a relative who considered a surrogate and decided to try for an adoption instead; the issues are so fraught. And there are so many children who need homes.

4. The surrogate will, of course, disappear quickly

and the show will be about two hapless daddies trying to cope with a baby. Yawn.

5. alternatively, the pregnancy idea is perfect

9 months = the one season it will probably last.

yes it did look like some bad, formulaic network citcom crap, just with gay people.

6. It's from Ryan Murphy,

the same person who did Nip/Tuck and Glee.

7. With so many problems in our country why do people worry about gays, surrogate mothers?

It really is so sad. I guess I grew up to believe you should let people make up their own minds. Everyone has a right to be happy. If gays want to marry then let them. They sure don't hurt my marriage. My goodness. I don't get it.
