5. Read the comments by Scott Croinex

"So we have a contained environment inside of the patrol car. A dead kid inside of the patrol car with no gun. Cops that by their own story say that they turned immediately around and saw no one near the car or running from he car. No broken glass, no 'sniper gunshot', nothing other than this magical whodunit.

The kid is shot in the right temple and is left handed. No gun. 'Theories' that dont add up.

Its not hard to see what happened here. A couple of dumb cops did the wrong thing and tried put together a lame story to cover their hides."

6. Weird, I don't see any comments. Wish I could read them.

Trying to think of all the possibilities...

1) They killed him (why, after handcuffing him and putting him in the back of the squad car? You'd think if they were going to kill him they'd say there was a "struggle" and just kill him outside the car)

2) They missed a hidden gun and

2a) He tried to shoot one of them, accidentally shot himself. Doesn't really explain the crazy shot angle.

2b) He was trying to shoot his handcuffs off. Might explain the shot angle.

I realize 2a and 2b don't explain why he didn't use his dominant hand. But maybe when you're handcuffed you use whatever hand you can. Maybe it fell out of his clothes near his other hand.

3) Someone else killed him (unlikely, but possible I suppose)

Assuming it's all handled above board, surely ballistics will put this to bed pretty quick, right? This is one of the stranger stories I've read lately. I'm not a big fan of the police lately but I'm not ready to hang them on this one yet.

11. Darn. Every time I click it

it just goes back to the original article. I'm running Firefox with Ad Blocker and I have Facebook blocked. Don't know if that has something to do with it. Thanks anyway. If you feel like copy/pasting I'd love to read it.

14. Here is the full text of the post:

First off, Id like to say I was a cop for 7 years. A good one., Also for all of you 'low IQ' theory lovers, I have a 145 IQ which isnt too shabby.

OK,here goes.... its obvious that what happened from the cops' own story. Heres why.

If this kid was in the back of the car, by himself and shot himself with his own gun, why do they 'think he somehow managed to pull a hidden gun and shoot himself in the head'. Wouldnt they 'know' he did it when they saw the gun in or near his lap?

Obviously there was no gun found in the car, because their other theory is that, 'someone else may have shot Carter'.

That means that they did not find a gun. There is no other reason to think someone else may have done it unless there was no gun to be found. If there was a gun, they wouldnt think someone else did it and ran off.

Also, if they heard the 'thump' and turned around they would have seen someone running away from the car if it was done by another person. They also would have described hearing a 'gunshot' not a 'thump'. Unless they think it was a sniper from a few hundred yards, which would still sound like a gunshot, not a thump lol.

Here are two more things. If the cops were outside of the car and turned around, they would have to go to the car and see him. It wouldnt be just a simple 'we turned around and saw him', unless they have x-ray vision.

And if the cops were inside the car, it would have been described as a 'bang' or 'gunshot' that they had heard.

So the situation that we are supposed to believe is that a couple of cops arrested this kid, cuffed him, searched him, and put him in the back of the car and closed the door.

They left him alone in the car while they talked. Then they heard a thump, turned around and saw the kid dead in a closed car without walking over to the car. They saw no one near or running from the car. Then they opened the door, saw that he was shot and never found a gun. Then they started coming up with 'theories' as to what happened.

No cop locks anyone in a car with the windows down because people get out and run away while you talk to you partners/buddies. They never mention a broken window or the sound of the door opening/closing. More evidence that there is no reason to think 'someone else' may have done it. Unless you are desperate to find some mystery person to blame that is.

So we have a contained environment inside of the patrol car.

A couple of dumb cops did the wrong thing and tried put together a lame story to cover their hides.

You can bet that if any of us were involved, there would be no way out of it.

Im not sure if they expect us to believe that the kid ditched the gun after killing himself or what.

But I know one thing. When you take someone into custody, you become responsible for what happens to them. If you cant even do a pat down correctly, then it IS your fault if you miss a big, heavy item like a frigging gun. You are also responsible for what the arrestee does with the things your crappy pat down skills left on his person.

If the kid had somehow asphyxiated in the back of the car, the cops would be liable. So, no matter how this kid died, they are responsible for it since they interrupted his life, tied his hands and took control of him against his will.

The cops took his life into their hands when they put him under arrest. And they are responsible for what happens to him during transport. If not for the arrest, the kid would have continued to go about his day and still be alive today.

The public has the reasonable expectation to be protected from harm while in police custody and in restraint, unable to defend themselves.

These cops didnt just fail this kid, they failed their duty, job, each other, their department, their families, the victim, his family, friends, the public, it goes on and on.

This is a disaster created by the continued employment of at least 2 incompetent police. And their own words, lame theories and lack of ANY other evidence point to the HUGE probability that they chose to do this to this kid deliberately.

There really is no other explanation that makes any sense. The police are had in their possession at all times, the only firearms present in this entire story.

Thanks for listening.

7. Hmm... can't wait for the ballistics report.

Kid was searched twice, AND cuffed behind his back. Ballistics and autopsy should shine a light...

16. I am sure that the

kkkops will be given some nice paid leave before everything is swept under the rug. These days we common folk should view every interaction with a cop as a potentially fatal encounter.
