2. "the country's two competing directions" in what sense?
|
I hear nearly everyone in power calling for the red pill, i.e. more tax cuts for the rich, no meaningful regulation of financial industries, and a near universal howl for cutting spending, etc. Democrats and republicans alike seem to advance those positions.
On the other hand, if you mean two competing directions in the sense that the leadership of both parties is completely out of step with what most Americans want, that makes complete sense, although it's hard to call that a "competition" since we don't have much power to genuinely compete. |

Do you want to be hung with a blue rope, or do you want to be hung with a red rope?

I believe productivity also vastly improved during the same period. Maybe that concept could be made more explicit by changing the income concentration box to read, e.g., :"30 yrs of increased productivity & income being paid to the top," if that's' not too long, or something like that. |

10. and add to the bottom left box- start a war with Iran
|
Because that is what Mittens is aching to do.
And I would eliminate the "pay off the debt" part, since none of their plans even decrease the deficit, let alone generate a surplus. |
