Write a letter to the editor and help protect Medicare and Medicaid

Monday, July 30th marks the 47th anniversary of Medicare and Medicaid.

These programs have become a cornerstone of health and security for millions of Americans. Sadly, Republicans in Congress are more concerned with giving tax breaks away to millionaires and billionaires than assuring these programs are around for our children and grandchildren to enjoy.

House Republicans continue to call for deeper and deeper cuts to both Medicare and Medicaid—cuts that would total $2.75 trillion over the next 10 years.

If you support Medicare and Medicaid and want to see these programs passed on to your children and grandchildren, now is the time to act. Send a letter to the editor TODAY and help protect these essential programs!

It’s easy to do. Find your local papers by entering your zip code below. Then use our talking points to draft a letter to the editor of your local paper and tell why these programs are important to you and your family.
