Oops, looks like Chik Fil A needs to pay a little more attention to detail if they want to adhere to the Bible.
Leviticus 19:19
Keep my decrees. Do not mate different kinds of animals. Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed. Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.

My colleague, Uniforms Editor Jay Gordon, asked me to model a Chick-fil-A managers uniform for his magazine and I readily agreed. The day of the shoot, I came to work wearing flowered satin pumps, with 4-inch heels. The look of dismay on Jays face when he saw my shoes hit home with me that I hadnt worn a uniform in quite a long time.
...
Jay asked me to wear a deep blue, ¾-sleeve, 55/45 cotton/poly woven shirt with stain-protection and wrinkle-resistant treatments, and flat-front, 60/40 cotton/poly pants with soil-release properties.

(14,893 posts)1. Wow, not only are they sowing confusion by mixing fibers,
but the fact that they would have female employees wear pants (men's clothing) would qualify as an abomination, if they want to adhere to the Old Testament.

It didn't exist back then and many aren't organic.
Digging pretty deep to get to cotton polyester blend uniforms.
Plenty of other things to criticize theses assholes about.

Polyester is a material. It fits the Levitical definition just fine.

(23,796 posts)5. Yeah, that was a little harsh, wasn't it?
I'm sorry.

and am not rigidly tied to mine.
Not Scalia like at all.
