Chamber of Commerce $842,000 attack ad campaign against Tammy Baldwin

from a Baldwin for Senate e-mail:

You don’t need to be an expert poll-reader to understand what’s going on here. One hundred days from the election, this race is anybody’s ballgame.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce can see that, too. That’s why they’re airing a brand new attack against Tammy on Wisconsin TV, with an eye-popping $842,310 behind it.

That’s a lot of money to throw behind a single attack -- and we need to make sure Tammy has what she needs to fight back. Make a contribution, and help us hit our $100,000 July goal.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce (unlike your local Chamber of Commerce) is one of those Washington special interest groups attacking progressives like Tammy for their strong pro-middle class values.

Here in Wisconsin, those special interests have plenty to be excited about. We’re up against two Washington insiders -- Eric Hovde and Tommy Thompson -- both anti-Medicare, anti-middle class, pro-special interest Republicans that the U.S. Chamber would love to see in the Senate.
