OP
yes, it plays right into these rule-breaking gambits by the Rethugs, that part gets lost in the 'OMG both-sides' chaos:

AOC:
You see, this is the microcosm of what authoritarians do on a larger scale.
ID a vulnerable person/community thats easier to break the rules towards, normalize it (often w/ both sides rhetoric), and then use that rule-breaking to undermine deeper processes and rule of law.
Thats why this stuff isnt just all-sides chaos, or mere distraction, or a pox on everyones house.
They WANT you to think this was some random devolution of conduct instead of a structured GOP outcome.
We must understand who and what actions created the situation. It matters.

I think one has to say something so hateful/vile/unnecessary to get contributions from the rubes who support her.
Depending on outcome of GA primary Tuesday, looks like there will be a good Democrat against her. Unfortunately, that district doesnt like good candidates, just unashamed white wing crazies.

but the real fault lies with whoever didn't call MEG to order, reminding her where she is and that certain standards of adult behavior are expected and that if she continues to act like a catty teenager, she'll be asked to leave and not readmitted.
Had that person done his or her job, the problem would likely not have occurred.
