Steve Schmidt: "I'm ashamed of my association with Samuel Alito" [View all]

Link: https://steveschmidt.substack.com/p/im-ashamed-of-my-association-with

The New York Times revealed that an upside-down American flag was flown outside the home of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito just days before President Biden's inauguration. The perversion of the American flag, normally a symbol of distress, was co-opted by the seditionists who stormed the Capitol. This corrupt and despicable act has no place in America and no place inside the Supreme Court.

I wrote about this earlier today, but I also wanted to express myself in a video commentary because, as the person who led Alito's confirmation process, I am deeply ashamed of my association with the man:

It takes a big man to admit he made a mistake.
