The media loved David Pecker, but the standards for Stormy seem to be [View all]

a little , shall we say "different."

Although Pecker was praised many times almost universally as a truth teller and someone the jury would believe, he had actually committed unethical and almost certainly illegal acts. The fact that he told the truth under oath to save himself was not a focal point. But if you look at his actions objectively, they were dishonest, sleazy, and possible resulted in denying the people a fair election.

Contrast that with Stormy. She has no immunity deal. Why? No one is accusing her of doing anything illegal. Yet she is being portrayed as someone more "sketchy" than Pecker.

Apparently, her testimony about her interactions with cheato is "icky" but that only applies to her, not the male who initiated the interaction. She is being judged by a completely different standard, and I submit that sexism is the reason.
