MrSubaru1387: Subaru has new issue with Thermo Control Valves that replace Mechanical Thermostats.

This issue affects 2019 and newer model year vehicles.

When it fails, it can be anywhere from a $1200 repair to a $2000 repair.
If the plastic they use is anything like their radiators, we're all boned.

Non-Turbo engines. Oh, the 2025 Forester went back to the old method.
Perhaps Subaru will be backing out this change through the other models.
