My conversation with my indecisive golden.

All morning after our walk he goes to the patio slider to go out then he wants to come back inside almost immediately.

Our conversation and I’ll speak for Dunc

Man - Duncan in or out.

Dunc - Huh.

She barks to go out and a minute or less later barks to come back in. She knows I’ll give her a treat if she “goes” and I usually don’t watch. Smart girl.

He'll go to the patio door and stand there, as if to go out, then walk away when you get up to oblige him. We think it's some kind of passive-aggressive dominance thing.

Year old dachshunds recently discovered they can get the door open by themselves. Sigh! We have to make sure the door is really shut or next thing ya know these two challenge every dog in the neighborhood to a bark off. Little dogs - big bark.😂

5 minutes later, he comes back in the back door and does it again. I love your Dunc stories!
