For the previous two years I tried the 5/2, but the 6/18 fits my schedule better. Good luck.

having just a small breakfast around 10:30 or 11:00. Started a diet just before the lockdown and it went pretty well until I lost about 25 lbs. and got stuck. So in August I started walking every day (2-4 miles) and took on the partial fast. Since then I've lost another 23 lbs., total 48 lbs. since a year ago, and I'm about where I need to be. BMI is back to normal and clothes are too big. I'm going to keep doing this indefinitely, especially the walking, which is the most important bit, I think. I was out today despite the weather (0 F, -22 wind chill) and it wasn't bad at all and it makes me feel good.
