Former Canadian PM Mulroney dies aged 84 - Reuters

Former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney has died at age 84. Mulroney is best known for the free trade deal he struck with the US in 1988 but his legacy was later tarnished by revelations of improper business dealings.

winning only two seats after he resigned under scandal. He shafted Joe Clark, the only decent Conservative, imo, in order to win the leadership of the party. He wasn't all bad but was, overall, a typical con, out to serve the rich on the backs of the poor.

I'm afraid I can't muster a single tear for him.

One example of his dealings...he stopped construction of a new prison and broke ground for that "same prison" in his home riding. Home district, in US politics.
